This California Privacy Rights Notice supplements the Privacy Policy of RipCity Trading Cards & Collectibles and explains privacy rights that may be available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”).

This notice applies to the extent the CCPA applies to RipCity Trading Cards & Collectibles and to the personal information involved in a particular request.

Limited transaction information associated with Shopify Payments or another payment method actually displayed at checkout. RipCity does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers through its standard online checkout.

Please tell us which privacy right you would like to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records.

Identity verification

Before providing, deleting or correcting certain personal information, we may need to verify that the person making the request is the consumer to whom the information relates.

Verification may involve matching information you provide with information already associated with an order, transaction or customer record. We will request only information reasonably necessary for the request and verification process.

Response timing

Where the applicable CCPA request procedures apply, we generally confirm receipt of a request to know, delete or correct within 10 business days.

We generally provide a substantive response to a verifiable request within 45 calendar days after receipt.

Where additional time is permitted and reasonably necessary, the response period may be extended by an additional 45 calendar days. If an extension is used, notice will be provided as required by applicable law.

Authorized agents

Where permitted by California law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit certain privacy requests on your behalf.

We may request reasonable proof that the agent is authorized to act for you and may verify your identity directly where permitted or required.

Cost of submitting a request

We do not ordinarily charge a fee for processing a valid privacy request. Where applicable law permits a fee or allows a request to be declined because it is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive, we may act as permitted by law.

Non-discrimination

We will not unlawfully deny goods or services, charge a different price, provide a different level of service or otherwise discriminate against you because you exercised an applicable California privacy right.
